We can begin by divesting from Palantir and ensuring our retirement funds are as well. If we don’t, we’re sleepwalking into a future where the very things we hold dear—privacy, freedom, and democracy—are sacrificed on the altar of data and control.
The time to act is now. Fighting Palantir is, quite literally, fighting fascism. We need to educate ourselves, to demand accountability from our elected officials, and to take steps to protect our digital lives. This includes everything from the use of privacy-focused software to investing in more sustainable digital security systems. We cannot allow a man who seemingly believes in the supremacy of a select few to control our future. The stakes are too high.
