As I sit here reading about the tragic news of a 2-year-old sea lion being shot and killed on a California beach, my heart aches with sadness and anger. What kind of despicable human being could commit such a senseless act of cruelty against a defenseless animal? I can’t help but feel a sense of relief knowing that a judge has finally agreed to unseal additional filings from the Jan. 6 case, especially as Trump signals a challenge. The timing of this decision seems inconvenient for Trump, given that his lawyers have delayed proceedings for so long.
