This reaction feels remarkably similar to the algorithmic manipulation of emotions; an over-the-top, emotionally charged spectacle designed to stir outrage. It’s a tactic as old as time, yet highly effective in rallying a base and maintaining a constant state of agitation. The irony, however, is palpable. After all, this is the same group that largely remained silent, or even approving, during the Trump administration’s generous use of presidential pardons for family members and allies.
The hypocrisy is blatant. However, the sheer volume of unadulterated rage from the MAGA base speaks volumes about their priorities and their willingness to selectively ignore hypocrisy when it suits their narrative. This level of sustained outrage seems less about justice and fairness and more about maintaining a constant state of anti-Biden sentiment. The reaction is less a thoughtful response to a political action and more a predictable, emotionally charged meltdown, fueled by partisan politics.
