The fact that it has taken over three years to even consider charging Trump for his blatant attempts to interfere with the 2020 election is mind-boggling. The delay, motions to dismiss, and stalling tactics employed by his legal team are making a mockery of the entire judicial process. It seems like the rich and powerful can manipulate the system to avoid facing consequences for their actions, leaving the rest of us feeling helpless and disillusioned.
The legal system should be a pillar of justice, ensuring that all individuals are held accountable for their actions regardless of their status or influence. However, the delays and obstructions in Trump’s case highlight the deep-rooted flaws within our system. It is disheartening to see how easily the powerful can evade accountability while the rest of us are left to witness our democracy crumble before our eyes.
