A performance that left much to be desired. Biden looked old and frail compared to Trump, who despite being terrible, at least appeared mentally composed.
But the blame cannot be placed solely on Trump. He is the presumptive Republican nominee and his popularity serves as a mandate, highlighting the deep divisions and skewed values in American society. The media, once the watchdogs of democracy, have failed to hold power to account, as corporate interests have taken over.
