So, when I heard about the proposal to name Dulles Airport in Virginia after him, I couldn’t help but cringe.
Imagine the horror of stepping foot into “Donald J. Trump International Airport.” It’s like a nightmare come to life. The man who incited violence, spewed hatred, and divided our nation like never before, being immortalized in an airport name – it’s almost too much to bear. And the audacity of Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Pa.) to introduce such a bill, claiming that the U.S. has never been greater under Trump’s leadership. I can’t help but wonder if he was thinking clearly or just trying to kiss up to Trump.
The idea of naming anything after Trump, let alone an airport, is not just laughable, but downright disrespectful.
