I can’t shake the feeling of utter horror and disgust after seeing the video of the brutal attack on a teenage girl near a high school in St. Louis. The level of violence, the lack of humanity displayed by the attacker, slamming the victim’s head repeatedly on the concrete while she lay defenseless, is beyond comprehension. I am utterly disgusted by the recent news of an officer who made a man lick urine off a jail floor, pleading guilty to his heinous actions.
