Judge halts Jeffrey Epstein records, hours after DeSantis signed bill to release them

Y’all need to stop freaking out. I feel like I died 10 years ago and every day that goes by the onion writes an article and it comes true. Because the law comes into effect July 1st, so the judge is following the laws currently in force, judge will consider the motion then. It’s amazing that only one lady is in jail for that entire deal. One of the biggest if not the biggest child and women being assaulted and passed around by the rich and elite and you don’t know one name and no one who did that to the girls is in jail.

Why are they not all being exposed and arrested on both sides ITT: people that only read headlines. No shit you think the world is going to shit cause you only read clickbait headlines lol. To the vast majority who refuse to read even a sentence of an article before running into the comments section as if an expert on everything: it’s because the bill won’t become law for a few months. Media Literacy in America is truly dead. Nobody wants to read anymore.

If Reddit thought me anything, it is that I don’t need to read any article to have an opinion. Even when I have no idea what I’m talking about — or especially then. Each side thinks they’re going to find some smoking gun about the other guy, and it’s either just not in these records or it’s going to nuke everyone.

Personally, I think that, unless there are specific cases being built around this info, sunlight is the best disinfectant. But honestly, I think these things have been open secrets for years, and it’s not like we punish anyone for this stuff anyways. We can’t even get a traitorous, fraud-committing rapist off the Presidential ballot, what makes anyone think this is going to get anyone cancelled for more than two minutes?

I hope that they redact rape victim names; especially given that many if not all were minors at the time. The law doesn’t take effect until July 1st. The record should have gone public ages ago. Biggest cover up since 911. Wonder if the judge is on the list. There will be a lot of power-pedos wanting this information to never get out. It is so important that it does get out.

Who the hell is opposed to them releasing any Epstein docs at this point? I don’t care about Dem/Rep, I just want to see people face consequences. We’re shown time and again that the “rich & powerful” are immune to punishment.

What’s even crazier is DeSantis has been sort of dormant since he dropped out of the presidential race. Almost like he was dog whistling and refuses to walk it back. Don’t forget who DeSantis is and what he’s done in the name of “clout” to appeal the lowest common denominator. DeSantis could discover Atlantis for all I care – but how he has treated citizens of the United States and residence of Florida, is inexcusable.

Don’t let it distract you from the point… Epstein was besties with many of the most wealthy and powerful people on the planet…For decades… According to Cindy McCain in 2020…everyone knew what Epstein was doing. What does that mean??? Were they complicit in his horrendous crimes? For how long? Talking about Trump, Clinton, Gates, Musk, Wexner, and don’t forget Jamie Dimon/JPMorgan as well as Deutschebank… Many of the most powerful people on the planet, and none of them have faced any consequences or investigation, only Ghislaine, being that it’s painfully ironic that only a woman has been punished for these crimes by powerful men… Srsly messed up, we all need to pay much more attention to this case, it seems the corruption case of the century…

It does not serve the public any good when the public doesn’t know what goes on behind closed doors. The law goes into effect July 1. Tick tock… Where can I find the boots? Desantis wants to be Trump so bad, he even started using sharpies to sign documents. Words cannot express the frustration and disdain for the powerful people who think they are above the law. Letting them get away with horrendous crimes while the average person faces consequences for much lesser offenses.

In conclusion, the release of the Jeffrey Epstein records is a crucial step towards transparency and accountability, especially in a case that involves high-profile individuals and staggering levels of corruption. It is essential that the information is made public, with redactions to protect victims’ identities, to shed light on the truth and ensure that justice is served, regardless of one’s status or power. The public deserves to know the full extent of the wrongdoing that has occurred and for those responsible to face the consequences of their actions. It is time for the veil of secrecy to be lifted, and for the voices of the victims to be heard.
