These types of purchases happen all too often, especially in the south, where people can easily acquire guns through various means, including social media.
The entire community is left in shock and mourning due to this horrific incident that happened just miles away from where I live. It’s disheartening to see how a violent convicted criminal, like Shannon Gooden, was able to illegally acquire a firearm that he was legally barred from owning or possessing.
