It’s no secret that Donald Trump has always had issues with his legal representation. Many have criticized his choice of lawyers, claiming that they are not competent enough to handle his cases. However, the truth is that it’s not the lawyers’ fault that he keeps losing his cases – it’s because he’s guilty.
I can’t help but think that every decent lawyer he comes across probably advises him to settle or plea bargain. But Trump’s ego won’t allow him to accept that he’s in the wrong. Instead, he hires lawyers who will tell him what he wants to hear, even if it means facing embarrassing losses in court. Trump doesn’t want lawyers, he wants human shields with law degrees – people who will blindly follow his every directive, no matter how crazy or unlawful it may be.
This is a pattern that we saw during his time in the White House as well. Trump surrounded himself with loyalists who would do his bidding without question, often at their own expense. And now it seems he is doing the same with his legal team.
While it’s easy to make jokes about his choice of lawyers, the reality is that his behavior is causing harm to the legal system. It’s clear that he has no regard for the rule of law, and he will do whatever it takes to protect himself, even if it means undermining the very system that is meant to uphold justice.
What’s truly concerning is that Trump seems to be more focused on finding new lawyers than addressing the issues facing America. Instead of taking responsibility for his actions and working towards a better future, he chooses to cry like a baby whenever things don’t go his way. Not everything is a conspiracy, as much as he would like it to be.
It’s actually quite baffling that any law firm would be willing to waste its resources on him. Only a foolish lawyer would willingly take on Trump as a client, knowing full well the risks involved. But perhaps there are some who are attracted to the notoriety that comes with representing such a high-profile figure.
In the end, though, it doesn’t really matter who his lawyers are. Even the best legal minds would struggle to defend the indefensible. Trump’s actions speak for themselves, and no amount of legal maneuvering can change that. It’s comical how he turned a $5 million settlement into an $83 million loss. And even if he were to win on appeal, he would still have to come up with the cash or a very expensive bond.
It’s time for Trump to stop blaming his lawyers and start taking responsibility for his own actions. Maybe then he can begin to move forward and focus on the real issues facing our country. But if history is any indication, I don’t think he’s capable of that. It’s clear that Trump’s search for new lawyers on Truth Social is just another attempt to find someone who will tell him what he wants to hear. He wants lawyers who will be his puppets, who will follow his every command without question. But competent lawyers, the ones who understand the law and ethics, won’t stoop to his level.
His behavior not only damages the legal system but also highlights his disdain for the rule of law. He believes that he is above the law and can get away with anything. And sadly, there are seemingly lawyers out there who are willing to enable him.
But no matter who his lawyers are, it doesn’t change the fact that he’s guilty. His actions, his words, and his own confessions make it nearly impossible for any lawyer to defend him effectively. Even the best lawyers would look foolish trying to defend someone with such a blatant disregard for the truth.
At the end of the day, Trump’s search for new lawyers is just another attempt to shift blame onto others. He refuses to take responsibility for his own actions and instead looks for scapegoats to excuse his losses. It’s a pattern we’ve seen time and time again from him.
So, while he may continue his search for lawyers who will feed his ego and shield him from the consequences of his actions, the truth remains: Trump’s legal troubles are a result of his own wrongdoing. And no lawyer, no matter how skilled or loyal, can change that.
