As an observer of the current political climate in the United States, I can’t help but feel a sense of frustration and disappointment at the recent actions of the GOP. It seems that their priorities lie in creating dysfunction rather than working towards effective solutions for the nation. The reversal on securing the border, in particular, has left many Democrats, myself included, feeling disgusted and betrayed.
The Republicans have consistently shown a lack of commitment to addressing the immigration problem at the border. They seem content with allowing fentanyl and other illegal substances to flow into the country, putting American lives at risk. Instead of taking action to secure the border and protect our citizens, they prioritize sham impeachments and political theater. It’s all just a ploy to pander to their dear leader, Trump, who claims he can single-handedly fix the issue and have Mexico pay for it – a laughable notion.
What’s even more infuriating is the hypocrisy of the GOP.
