When I first watched the video of this incident, my jaw dropped in disbelief. The deputy, Jesse Hernandez, reacted with such intensity that it was hard to comprehend what was happening. Rolling on the ground, claiming to have been hit, firing his entire magazine of bullets at his own vehicle – it was like watching a scene from a movie, but in this case, it was all too real.
The delusional paranoia displayed by Deputy Hernandez was alarming.
