This comes in the wake of the US vowing revenge for the attack on Jordan. It seems that the tables have turned, and the terrorists are now feeling the fear of being targeted themselves.
For too long, Iran has used its proxies to terrorize the region and hold it hostage. The US has often found itself in a difficult position, damned if it takes action and damned if it doesn’t. But now, it’s time for a smarter call to be made, one that sends a clear message to Iran and its terrorist pawns.
Iran’s disownment of these terrorists means they are on their own. They can run, but they can’t hide. As the famous quote from Judge Holden in Blood Meridian reminds us, war endures, and the ultimate trade of war awaits its ultimate practitioner. The US military is ready to snap these terrorists from existence, just as it sunk half of Iran’s navy in the 80s.

Iran does not have the military capabilities to wage an offensive against the US, and Congress is unlikely to declare war. However, approved strike packages will show Iran that the US is not to be tested at a wartime level.
The idea of a terrorist organization trying to escape an international conflict was not on anyone’s bingo card for 2024. It shows the cowardice of Iran and its proxies. One possible strategy could be to wipe out Iran’s biggest refinery or assist Ukraine in taking out factories that produce drones for Russia. It’s time to strike Iran directly and take down the big fish that is talking so much nonsense.
Closing the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for oil transportation, could raise the price of oil. But these terrorists should know that the US won’t back down. They better put on their funeral pants because retribution is coming their way.
Some may argue that blowing up empty bases is enough, but that’s not the way to win hearts and minds. It’s time to splatter these terrorists and show them the consequences of their actions. Maybe it’s time to test another MOAB and make sure they know we mean business.
As the terrorists attempt to avoid phone calls and hide, they should know that it won’t save them. Mister Hellfire Missile will find them whether they like it or not. There’s no escaping the consequences of their actions.
