By John Q. Hosedrinker Donald Trump storms out of closing arguments in E Jean Carroll trial. It’s not surprising at all. In fact, I find it quite satisfying. Trump’s consistent, childish behavior only reinforces the prosecution’s argument that he thinks he is above the law. His decision to walk out of the courtroom just further confirms his petulant nature.
Throughout these court proceedings, Trump has continued to defame Carroll, and she has rightfully dragged him back to court to demand justice. It’s like a never-ending loop of Trump losing in court and Carroll coming back for more millions. I wouldn’t be surprised if this cycle repeats itself once again.
It’s clear to me that Trump knows he is going to lose this case and that the amount he will have to pay will be much more than just 5 million dollars. His cowardly exit from the courtroom speaks volumes about his lack of confidence and his realization that the jury is likely to award Carroll a significant amount of money.
What strikes me is how some people still idolize Trump and see him as a strong leader. To me, he is nothing more than a spoiled, petulant child who throws a tantrum whenever things don’t go his way. How can anyone admire such behavior?
The image of Trump storming out of the courtroom, with his neon white hands and radioactive orange face paint, is truly laughable. It’s like watching a clown in a circus. His attempt to project strength only reveals his weakness and immaturity.
I’m actually glad that Trump walked out. It gives the jury even more reason to feel confident about awarding a substantial amount of money to Carroll. They can see firsthand how this man-child cannot handle being held accountable for his actions.
It’s worth questioning whether Trump’s departure was driven by a pressing appointment to sexually assault someone. But all jokes aside, this trial highlights the fact that Trump has a long history of inappropriate behavior towards women. It’s important that we don’t lose sight of the main issue at hand – the serious allegations of rape and harassment made by E Jean Carroll.
While Trump continues to label this case as a political witch hunt, it’s important to note that it is a civil case and has nothing to do with politics or witches. Trump lost because he is a piece of shit who cannot keep his mouth shut. His constant attacks and defamation only further solidify Carroll’s case against him.
I hope Carroll keeps suing his ass again and again. Trump needs to face the consequences of his actions. Personally, I believe the penalties for his defamatory social media posts and other public statements should be in the range of millions, if not billions, of dollars. Perhaps that’s the only way to get his attention.
In the end, Trump’s storming out of the courtroom is just another chapter in his history of avoiding consequences. He is a weak man who cannot handle being confronted with his own wrongdoings. But the fact remains that Carroll has the power to bring him back to court time and time again until justice is served.
Let’s hope that this trial brings about a substantial victory for Carroll and sends a powerful message that no one, not even a former president, is above the law. As the proceedings continue, the smell of justice and accountability must overpower the stench of Trump’s cowardice.
