By Matt Underwood Conservatives can’t prove that widespread voter fraud is real. The Heritage Foundation, at Trump’s insistence, already tried in 2017 and this was the result: Less than 1,100 individual cases spanning from as far back as 1982 found:

But hold up–there was an update to that number in march. According the Heritage foundation, that number “swelled up” to a whopping 1,285
Trump himself set up a commission to prove his claim that there was widespread voter fraud and that’s why he lost the popular vote. You remember what happened?
The commission found so few cases they disbanded without producing a single report.
They disbanded because a court ruled they had to share they’re findings with the Democrats on the committee who had been illegally excluded.
In reality that commission wanted to find new voter suppression tactics. You don’t disband and destroy docs if they merely show you found nothing, because that’s the most charitable interpretation already. The docs they were ordered to turn over would have proved their guilt.
Also worth noting, those 1,100 cases included ALL types of fraud, not just absentee ballot fraud, which conservatives say is out of control.
It includes:
- Impersonation Fraud
- False Registration
- Duplicate Voting
- Fraudulent Use of Absentee Ballots
- Buying Votes
- Illegal ‘Assistance’ at the Polls
- Ineligible Voting
- Altering Vote Counts
- Ballot Petition Fraud (which doesn’t actually involve actual VOTER fraud)
Conservatives know that widespread voter fraud is real because they’re the ones doing it.
The thing is that they don’t do it by voting twice where it can be easily caught. They do it by controlling the electronic voting machines, and then, when statistically significant irregularities are found between the exit poll results and those of the official count, they destroy the servers that the electronic count was stored on to prevent it from being FOIA’d.
